Kusch + Co chairs Bruno Rey

The Bruno Rey chairs are icons of modernist design, known for their clean lines and functionality. Designed in 1971, the Bruno Rey chair is the most famous creation of the designer. Its distinctive feature is the innovative construction of its joints. Instead of traditional connections using screws or other hardware, Rey employed advanced technology to seamlessly join the wooden components. This provided the chair with both stability and a minimalist aesthetic.

The chair is made of solid wood, often oak, and has a simple yet elegant appearance that reflects 20th-century modernism. It was a response to the more ornate and heavy furniture of previous decades, embodying a pursuit of simplicity and efficiency without compromising on style.
